Final Jam Version + Sequel server :)

Woop finally had enough time to wrap up this jam to state I'm happy with!
V 1.4.2 adds 3 things :
Mostly THE feature everyone people pointed out as clearly missing and desirable:
- #1 : Recipe Book!
In cooking scene the Recipe Book should now show up if you have enough ingredients to cook with.
When you click on it it will open a popup of the recipes you have unlocked and already know about.
It should look like this if you are an ignoramus who don't know how to cook anything :
Clicking any known recipe will trigger the preexisting recipe popup to remind you what ingredients are necessary and what's the effect of the recipe.
/!\ Known issue /!\: Sadly I'm not 100% sure why but navigation on controller in this menu specifically is a bit bugged and you must sometimes hit up or down multiple times to switch recipe. If you got any hypothesis why let me know and I'll give it a fourth or fifth attempt at fixing :s
- #2 : Save and Load
Another feature I specifically wanted to add was a way to store the player's known recipes and high score. Especially if there was to be a book I wanted peeps to be able to boot the game again and not lose ingame knowledge over and over.
So your new book will also save and reload your known recipes and your high score is stored :> (Locally in browser memory or as kobold_concoctions.save on downloaded version.)
The game autosaves whenever you unlock a new recipe or when you reach a new high score. So you should never lose any progress :>
- #3 : Game Over Screen
Last but not least the 2nd most requested feature : Being able to play again without rebooting the web page (haha).
As you can imagine I absolutely wanted to ship it for the jam too but completely forgot about it until last day and then realized I did not account for resetting a lot of game items (player stats, score, wave number etc) so "restarting" was just endlessly free Continue.
Something so simple as resetting the game turned out to be pretty complicated because nothing planned for it initially!
Anyway, now you can reset.
The gameover screen is nothing fancy and looks like this:
A SEQUEL???
Yes :3
I liked working on this title a lot and want to try reworking the idea in a full title to be released on Steam, ideally in 2026 if I can stay on top of both efficient development and marketing!
I've had a lot of positive comments on this and some even managed to make it to wave counts I didn't know possible and demand higher dedication than I thought people would commit to a quick 2 week Jam (Thanks Dusk and Modest for showing me your crazy scores!) . So I commissioned a full OST and I'm now working on expanding the content and depth of the game to have more replay value and new art.
If you're interested in helping playtest and shape up the game, share random ideas and feedback, you're welcome to come try out prealpha and beta builds I'll publish every other week on the Discord or my gamedev telegram channel.

Thanks for enjoying Kobold Concoctions, hope you'll like Bunny Brewery :3 (tentative title!)
